Fresno County Office of Education
The Fresno County Office of Education supports strong academic programs, career technical education, and the arts as we work to create a culture rich society where the whole child is important. FCOE provides support to meet the challenges of the 21st Century and help all students become successful in the new global economy.
The Fresno County Office of Education is led by Jim A. Yovino, Superintendent of Schools. FCOE provides: support services to 34 school districts, serving 193,000 students. FCOE provides professional training, staff development, curriculum, business and finance support, health and pupil personnel services, as well as legislative and public policy leadership and advocacy at the local, state and federal level. Moreover, FCOE serves as a safety net for students with special needs, offering direct services for migrant, special education, and court and community schools students.
